It is easier to predict the chances of the woman’s survival in the breast cancer if we happen to know the way in which the proteins interact in all those tumours. This would allow the doctors to come up with the better treatment according to the researchers in Canada. If you come to know from the outset that the prognosis of any particular woman has gone bad then the doctors would be able to facilitate some aggressive treatment right away in order to cure the patient. However, it is a very difficult task to make out which patient shall respond well and which one wouldn’t.

The scientists analysed the networks of all the protein strands that are existent in the body. Proteins are merely the chemical compounds that are imperative in all the cellular processes and in the breast caner tissue. Around 350 women participated in such a study from Europe and United States.

They found out that all those women who survived the disease had a different organisation of the network of these proteins along with the cancer cells as compared to those who die in the process. They also added that tracking these protein networks, they were able to predict at least 82% of the patients and the severity of breast cancer in them. Cancer is a situation that arises when there is a problem in the way the proteins communicate with each other in the body.
