Dry lips leads to chapped lips. Mostly it happens in winter or at times when your lips loose moisture. So it needs some
proper care, which is easy as well as effective for solving the problem.
• Lips are easily gullible to erythema solare because its loses melanin, so before going out under the scorching sun remember to apply a lip balm with sun block affect.
• Use the phenol & beeswax to deal with chapped lips.
• Petroleum jelly or lip balm can be an outstanding remedy. Even a coating of moisturiser or aloe Vera gel or vitamin E can also give you some effective results.
• Drink plenty of water (almost eight to nine glasses) to preserve adequate moisture in your body.
• Try to exfoliate your lips once in a week. Just arrange for a brush & make it wet, and then in a circular movement gently apply it on your lips.
• For chapped lips treatment you can also use a cream based lipstick instead of drying matte.
• People suffering from capped lips can also use the medicated lip balm that carries phenol along with the menthol & camphor.
• Indoor dry air can easily suck away your lip moisturiser, so try to arrange for a humidifier.
• If situation permits then try to avoid sun exposure as much as you can.
• Make sure that in winter you are consuming enough fluid.
