Chocolate one of the most favorite item of many people worldwide carries some good as well as bad affects on the health; many studies have been taken on the affects of chocolates on health. Recently a very exciting new research has been taken on the relationship of mood swings and chocolates, it was found that people who are depressed ate more chocolates as compared to those who don’t have the depression problem. The study was taken by US researchers and it was published on Monday and it showed up many new and amazing links between mood and chocolate eating.
Dr. Natalie Rose of the University of California, Davis, and University of California, San Diego, and colleagues while discussing about their research stated that “Depressed mood was significantly related to higher chocolate consumption”. This is a fact that many people considers chocolates as mood boosters and thus when their mood swings down they tend to eat more chocolates as compared to the normal routine days. A possible solution that was discussed in this research states that may be the depression is making these people to eat more chocolates and thus depression is increasing more Chocolate carvings. Nothing could be said more surely about this findings but it can be expected that in the near future we will see some more studies and researches on this issue.
