The too much exposure to the loud sounds may bring the problem of complete hearing loss and this can be permanent if not treated at the convenient time, recently a research was funded by hearing loss charity RNID and a new drug was discovered that can repair hearing loss that is caused by the loud noise.

Researchers at the University of Auckland, New Zealand found that the hearing problems caused due to loud noise can be permanent if proper treatment is not taken, a new compound called the ADAC was discovered that can prove to be the best treatment for hearing problems caused by noise.

According to Dr Srdjan Vlajkovic, the leading author of the study “To our knowledge, this study presents the most effective pharmacological strategy to date for reducing noise-induced hearing loss after exposure to damaging noise. We now hope to test its effectiveness in humans and are currently seeking industry partners to move this to clinical trials”.

According to the researchers, this drug can work quite affectively for the people with hearing problems by increasing the ability of sensory hair cell to break down the damaging waste products that were built during the exposure to high noise.

Thus a new and highly advance medical procedure has been developed that can help you in gaining the hearing ability back that has been lost due to too much surrounding noise.
