Pregnancy Nausea
Having your own kid is a dream come true, but the whole process is not quite easy. A pregnant woman faces various
ailments during pregnancy. Nausea is one of them.
• Instead of having 2-3 big meals, try to have several small meals. It will prevent you to have a full stomach as well as frequent meals can also avert empty stomach.
• With your biggest meal always take the necessary vitamins. Consult your doctors about the vitamins that are necessary.
• When there is no such necessity to wake up at a set time, them take enough rest.
• As your snacks try to ingest some high carbohydrate or high protein food products (like- granola bars, peanuts, soda crackers etc). It will help you to absorb the extra stomach acid & are also able to avert the blood sugar oscillation, which can lead to nausea.
• For treating nausea you can also carry with you some hard candy. Sucking such things can also give you some relief.
• Always carry a handy wet cloth, so that whenever you feel sick you can place it on your forehead or eyes.
• With some professional advice acupressure wristbands has also been identified to be quite beneficial.
• Sometimes chewable antacid is also quite useful, but you need to consult with your doctor before you start using it.
• Exercises (according to expert’s advice) can also give you some relief.
• Breathing some fresh air can also ease your nausea.
