Low cholesterol food is an excellent option to keep your heart healthy. High cholesterol can leads to severe problems
like high blood pressure, peripheral artery ailment etc. So to keep your heart and body healthy try the following low cholesterol preparation.
Ingredients:
• Extra virgin olive oil- 6 tsp (separated)
• Garlic clove- 4 (diced)
• Salt- As per taste
• Frozen cheese ravioli/tortellini- 20 ounce
• Red pepper- 1/8 tsp (crushed)
• Whole leaf spinach/frozen chopped- 16 ounce
• Parmesan cheese (freshly grated) - ¼ cup
• Water- ½ cup
Direction:
• Take a large sized pot & boil the water on medium temperature.
• Add the ravioli/tortellini & cook it as per direction on the package.
• Heat 2 tablespoons of oil on medium temperature in a large sized non stick skillet.
• Add the chopped garlic & allow it to cook for almost 30 seconds (till odorous).
• Now pour the red pepper along with the salt, water & spinach.
• Allow it to cook for almost 7-9 minutes (till the spinach is cooked well).
• Take it off from the heat & pour into four bowls.
• Place the paste on the top & sprinkle the remaining oil.
• Before serving scatter the parmesan cheese.
