Weight loss is one of the most important concern of most of the obese people of the world and they always looks for ways to reduce the extra fats on their body.

A recent study has been carried on the obese individuals and it shows that people who spend time at high altitudes tends to lose weight without going on diet. This study has been shown on Feb 4 issues of the journal Obesity but it’s not a very powerful research because it has been carried on a small group of people. This research was carried by Dr. Florian Lippl, of Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, Germany, and his colleagues and they selected 20 obese male participants with an average weight of 105 kg.

The participants were monitored first on the lower altitudes and then on higher altitudes and then the conclusion was obtained that those on higher altitudes lose more weight than those living in the lower altitudes. As stated above this research was quite preliminary and further future researches are required to get a solid conclusion and it can be expected that future researches will be seen relating to this thing as this research has open new ways for the other researchers as well.
