Most of the time we make excuses of our office schedule, office time for regular workout, but we can continue our
fitness routine within the office also. We just need some serious consciousness about staying fit.
• If situation & distance of your office permits, then try walking to reach your office (at least half the way).
• When you are in your cubical arrange for an exercise ball to sit for a few hours each day.
• In between your work schedule when your eyes feel fatigued & you are looking for some break, then stand up from your chair & do some quick & easy twist as well as some back exercises.
• Always take part in office sports. It will give you some excellent workouts after the job.
• At the lunch hour you can do some fast walking or power walking rather then looking for burgers or other junk foods.
• When you are sitting in your cubical try to do some quick squeezing as well as releasing of your but muscles.
• While sitting at your desk, sit on an exercise ball instead of your office chair for a couple hours in a day. You will have to use your stomach and back muscles in order to sit straight and not fall off.
• Park your vehicle a little far from your office & then take a brisk walk (if the walking route is safe enough then go for this option).
• Rather than taking an elevator try to go through stairs. It will help you stay fit.
