Sprains
Sprain is a ligament injury mostly occurs because of excessive stretching (above the capacity). Ligament is a soft
fibrous tissue. Some areas prone to sprains are wrist, ankles, knees etc. Where muscle tissue or ligament is split, surgical repair might be the remedy. Some common causes of sprains are: twisting, falling suddenly, lifting some heavy thing, sleeping over the slippery surface etc.
• Arrange some garlic oil as well as almond oil & then massage the injured area gently with the oil. It will help you to lower the pain.
• Take a muslin cloth & wrap the diced onion into it. Now place the cloth over the affected area.
• Cut the outer leafy portion of cabbage & plunge it into the warm water. Now use the leaf to wrap the damaged area for almost 10-15 minutes.
• Cold compress over the damaged area is recommended quite helpful for some effective relief.
• Prepare a mixture of sunflower oil (1 cup) along with the camphor oil (1 tsp) & apply it over the sprain area for getting some effective relief.
• Onion (chopped) & honey mixture is also identified to be quite effective for treating sprain.
• For treating sprain hot Epsom salt bath has also been found to be beneficial.
• Pour a few drops of lavender oil into the hot water & plunge your sprain portion into it. It will give you some quality relief.
