Shifting from place to be is really a stressful phenomenon for anyone but a recent study has showed that how drastically this movement from place to place, affects the life of children in future.

childhood1A research was carried out on the children’s behaviors due to changing schools and routines; it was found out that frequent relocation’s in childhood tend to the poorer beings in adulthood.

The results of this research were published in June issue of the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, and were published by the American Psychological Association.

Study’s lead author, Shigehiro Oishi, PhD, of the University of Virginia while discussing about their study said that “We know that children who move frequently are more likely to perform poorly in school and have more behavioral problems” and further “However, the long-term effects of moving on well-being in adulthood have been overlooked by researchers”.

The study was carried on the group of individuals who were aging from 20 to 75, earlier the people were contacted in the random survey sample in 1994 and 1995 and then after 10 years they were surveyed again. The overall work by those researchers showed up that the more people move as children the less they were satisfied with their lives and they also had low social relationships in their adulthood.
