Common Flu

Sometimes kids just feel reluctant to go to a doctor, specially for common flu. But treatments are necessary for this child-feveruncomfortable situation. Though some special cases need professional guidance, but at the initial stages we can also try some home cures.

•    To improve their immune system give foods which are excellent sources of zinc as well as vitamin C.

•    You can also provide your child some hard candy which can make their throats moist, but be careful so that it will not result in any throttling.

•    For some soothing relief, use lukewarm salt water for gargling.

•    Take a cup of boiling water & pour honey (2 tsp), cinnamon stick (1-2) & lemon juice (a few drops of). Mix well & give your child just before going to bed.

•    Don’t provide any dairy products to your kids.

•    Make sure that your kid is having enough water, because flu can make their body dehydrated.

•    Be careful that your kids are getting enough air (fresh).

•    Prepare a soup with cinnamon along with onion, garlic & pepper.

•    Ginger tea has also been recommended for some soothing effects.

•    To get rid of nasal congestion as well as headache you can also plunge your feet into hot water.
