Women are always conscious about their health these days because they have to handle multiple roles. Most working women today have to balance their life between family and professional life and therefore they need something better that can help them to improve their health. Awareness campaigns can help women stay fit and healthy when they are pregnant and delivering a baby. While there are certain percentages of women that do take care there are many others that don’t and that give rise to problems like preterm birth complications. Today, United States is facing many such cases because women here never really bothered about taking care of their health.

In the last few years, United States have made good progress in regards to premature birth rate and the results have shown that. As per the March of Dimes 2011 premature birth report card things have begun to slow down in the United States and that women are now getting some awareness and help that they need to avoid premature birth complications.

As per the latest report the preterm birth rate shows three years improvement in US and most states. In most cases, there are some states that have an improvement of more than 10% which is really great thing to know.

According to the latest 2011 March of Dimes premature birth rate report Puerto Rico and three other states get the lowest rating with F while 11 other states and the District of Columbia managed to secure a D. It also reveals that more than 19 states in the US secure a C and only 16 states get a B. It is interesting to see that Vermont is the only state that secures an A for premature birth rate. As per the overall ratings for the United States March of Dimes report gives a C.
